MAT-less March Education Series
MAT stands for Medication Assisted Treatment.
This Education series is to bring awareness to MAT-less organizations, or organizations who do not use medication-assisted treatment. We want our community to know, they all have a choice when receiving treatment. Each person deserves to decide how they become recovered.
Please note that our organization supports all types of recovery as each person's recovery journey is different. We simply want everyone to be able to make an educated decision!
Medication-assisted treatment is being highlighted today, but it is not the only option and certainly not the best option for everyone.
Event 1/ MAT-less Information Session
When: Saturday, March 9, 2024
Come join us to learn about what MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) is, why it is used, why some chose to and not to use it, pros and cons of it, and more! This is an educational session aimed at providing information and resources to the community. Information regarding MAT and MAT-less treatment will be available. We will have professionals speaking on the topic. This will also be a virtual event option so please inquire if you'd like to join via the Internet!
Event 2 / Meet MAT-less Organizations
When: Saturday, March 16, 2024
Come join us to meet MAT-less organizations from all aspects of the recovery journey! We will have professionals from MAT-less rehabilitation centers, detoxification centers, treatment centers, therapists, counselors, and more! This event will have a virtual component of the professionals speaking to the group, however in order to make introductions personally, you will have to be in-person.
Event 3 / MAT-less March Carnival
When: Saturday, March 30, 2024
The event of the year is finally here...Please come join us for the first annual MAT-less March Carnival! All proceeds will be donated to MAT-less, local organizations in the state of Ohio. The purpose of this event is to bring the community together and hopefully enjoy some beautiful spring weather while raising money for a wonderful cause!
